To Be A Product Manager | Week 26
This journal helps me improve 1% every day…

Welcome to Week 26 of
To Be A Product Manager
I didn’t finish all the things I set out to do at the beginning of the week, because I underestimate the time I will spend on finding the best comparison parameters for demo videos. So I still need to be office on weekend, working on the demo packages.
Now we are getting to the point that every week, meeting some potential partner from live streaming industry and give them an introduction and demo show, so that we are aware of what we’ve been working on.
And good news at the end of the week is that, one of biggest Interenet companies has confirm the partnership, in the meantime, our engineers has figured out a new solution for VR videos rendering, encoding and decoding process at around 11:00PM on Friday night.
What I accomplish
- demo mobile app product planning & test
- best demo comparison solution
- Blackmagic cameras guide document
- CMS product testing
What I’m pondering
On Saturday night, my girlfriend shared with me a blog, which talks about
why we are always feeling tired, even if we haven’t done anything?
We all believe that we are relaxing and chilling, but as a matter of fact, we are still sucking our energy. Like going to the party that you are not feeling like going, chatting with people you are not familiar with and being cautious with words.
The best way to relax and really recover from high pressure workdays, is to
- Learn to manage your time, as well as your energy
- Taking 15–30 mins nap
- Get your favourite travel magazine on your table
- Being with close friends
- Progressive Muscle Relaxation
These are definitely the thing I need to be working on, since I always feel stressed out in July. During workdays, the endless tasks are sucking you dry, and on weekends, I push myself to write and think without taking a good rest. I felt more and more stress that I just cannot do both in the right way, and I really believe it’s time to give up something, and only focus on the things that truly matter.
